For example, "and my hands they bleed" symbolise the subtle idea of domestic abuse that we are trying to portray to our audience. Similarly this relates to a specific shot that we used in our music video that shows Jack, our singer throwing a glass beer bottle against a wall shattering. Additionally, "Come closer darling to forget to fake" further proves our narrative of domestic abuse because it is initiating that the victim is being asked to stay hidden so nothing gets revealed. Furthermore the lyrics of this song present domestic violence in a way that creates sympathy for the victim as it portrays the violence from the abusers point of view. For example, the lyrics, "This love you broke" indicates that the abuser is blaming the victim for the end of the peace in the relationship, proving why the victim keeps quiet and does not go public about the abuse.
